Our Commitments

What guides us

Six commitments. Not slogans: choices you can see in every piece.

  1. One-of-a-kind pieces, described as such.

Olive wood and alfa are living materials: grain, shade and size vary from one piece to the next. We say so on every product page, before you buy.

It is not a flaw. It is the signature of the hand.

  2. An extra virgin olive oil finish.

Our olive wood pieces are nourished with extra virgin olive oil. No varnish to flake away over time.

To care for them, the same oil as in your kitchen.

  3. Care, explained.

Every product page explains how to wash, dry and nourish the piece. A few minutes now and then are enough.

A well-kept object is never replaced. It is handed down.

  4. Partner workshops around the Mediterranean.

We work with workshops we know, where wood and alfa are shaped piece by piece, with gestures handed down from generation to generation.

You can see their gestures on our Artisans page.

  5. No false urgency.

No countdown timers. No made-up “last pieces”. No never-ending sales.

You buy when the piece has its place in your home.

  6. Less plastic, parcel after parcel.

Our parcels are moving towards zero plastic. We are not there everywhere yet: it is a goal, and we say so plainly.

Packaging that protects the piece, nothing more.

These commitments do not set out to convince. Only to offer objects that are true to a certain way of seeing things. The rest is up to you.
